Michael is a seasoned audio producer in Houston Texas with more than 20 years recording and production experience. Prior to moving to Houston in 2004, Michael founded and served as chief engineer for the Headway Music Complex, a 12,000 sq. ft. recording and production facility in Orange County, California for 20+ years. Headway’s clients included major recording artists and hundreds of unsigned bands and songwriters (see our client list)...he also worked as an engineer for the music publishing giant MCA music.

As an instructor of college level recording classes for over 14 years, Michael has shared his passion with hundreds of students and passed his standards of excellence down to numerous interns currently working full time in the Southern California recording scene.

Tired of the So. Cal. music scene, Michael moved to Texas where he re-connected with the love of his life, got married and built an incredible studio.

Michael as a Touring Musician -- Prior to running a studio in California, Michael toured the country in various bands as a guitarist/vocalist. His bands opened for the following Artists:

Drew Connor -- Studio Manager/Engineer
Drew helps coordinate studio bookings, deals with client needs and gives tours of the studio to new artists. In addition to hie responsibilities at the studio, Drew works as an audio engineer on shows in Houston and on the road. He has worked for such artists as Pat Green, Jerry Jeff Walker and Gary P. Nunn.

Stephen Anderson -- Audio Design
The complex process of laying out and wiring the recording studio was handled by long-time, L.A. studio-veteran, Stephen Anderson. Stephen has served as the chief tech for Capitol Studios in Hollywood, as well as Larrabee Studios in Los Angeles. He was also a freelance designer for such clients as John Frusciante, Outkast, Dr Dre, and Bill Conti.
