Michael Mikulka: Owner
Michael has been recording, producing and running recording studios his whole adult life. He has worked with major artists (including Sting, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell , Chili Peppers), as well as hundreds of independent artists. Michael brings a wealth of experience to the table, particularly when working with bands and live musicians. He is a 30 year voting member for the Grammys and has owned and operated Lucky Run Studio since 2006.

Mark Zamora: Business Operations Manager
Mark started his career as a music producer who went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Audio production from the Art Institute of Houston. After Mark completed his Internship here at Lucky Run he was then hired as a contracted audio engineer who then worked his way up to Studio Manager. Mark now handles all of the day to day operations including bookings and account management.

Ian Thomas: Audio Engineer | Vocal Producer | Music Producer
Ian Thomas aka Ian Alxnder is a Houston born and raised Audio Engineer/Producer of 10+ years. His passion got him a Bachelor’s in Audio Production before starting his tenure at Lucky Run Studio. He’s had the privilege of contributing to successful projects and working with many amazing artists. He enjoys working on all genres and helping artists find their “voices” in the studio along with his production partner Eddie Ferguson.

Eddie “EFerg” Ferguson: Music Producer | Engineer | Film Scoring
Eddie Ferguson Jr aka EFerg is a Houston based multi-genre music producer, musician, and artist manager. His gospel and R&B roots helped jumpstart his career as a music producer/engineer. Working directly under music mogul Matthew Knowles at Music World helped him and production partner Ian Alxnder elevate their careers to work alongside many major and independent artists today. Eddie also has experience working on TV and film scoring.

Rob Hitchcock: Producer-in-Residence
Rob has nearly 20 years in the music industry, working with renowned artists including Deep Blue Something, Infected Mushroom, Paul Wall, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Breakaway Worship, Paul Cauthen, and many others. Drawing from his background in audio engineering from stages and studios across the world, Rob and his network of world-class musicians collaborate closely with artists on composition, orchestration, project management, and engineering to deliver authentic, inspired performances—whether in the studio or on stage—always with the same focus: faithfully capturing their sound, highlighting what makes them unique, and achieving excellence.
